Bracebridge OPP has arrested and charged a woman for operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs.
Officers were patrolling area road this past Saturday, around 12 p.m., and noticed a vehicle leaving an area closed to the public.
OPP say the officers conducted a traffic stop to investigate the circumstances and subsequently arrested and charged a 29-year-old Bracebridge woman with operation while impaired by drugs, possession of a Schedule I Substance and Possession of a Schedule III Substance.
Police also charged the passenger in the vehicle – a 40-year-old Bracebridge man, who faces possession charges as well as failure to comply with probation.
Both will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 30.
