Bracebridge OPP has charged three individuals following the theft of several high-end items.
OPP said that they, along with the Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit, have been investigating the theft of the items in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, which are worth approximately $40,000.
The items include a Sea-doo, trailers and five Yamaha motorcycles.
On Thursday, officers executed a warrant at an Innisfil address and recovered the stolen property – except for two motorcycles.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged a 23-year-old Innisfil man with multiple offences including breaking and entering, disguise with intent, and possession of break-in instruments.
He is also charged with four counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, four counts of theft over $5000 of a motor vehicle, three counts of theft over $5000, two counts of theft under $5000 and trafficking in property obtained by crime.
He was held in custody and will appear today for a bail hearing.
A 30-year-old man from Innisfil was also charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and will be before a judge at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 28.
Meanwhile, the third man, a 28-year-old from Innisfil, has been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
He will appear at the Bracebridge court on July 21.
