The OPP’s Festive R.I.D.E. initiative started November 23rd and it comes to an end today. West Parry Sound OPP had 125 R.I.D.E. checkpoints throughout their district and charged two drivers with drinking and driving offenses. They also served three drivers with 3-day licence suspensions. Police remind drivers that no amount of alcohol is safe at any time of the year when they are behind the wheel.
