GRAVENHURST, ON-Bracebridge OPP has laid assault charges after responding to an incident in a restaurant.
On July 25th, around 6:15 a.m., police were sent out to attend a disturbance on Muskoka Road South in Gravenhurst.
Once on scene, the man, who had previously been issued a trespass notice for attempting to enter, was asked to leave.
Before doing so, he responded by smashing a window and assaulted a patron before fleeing on foot.

Officers located the man a little later and arrested the 30-year-old from Gravenhurst and charged him with assault with a weapon, assault and mischief, possession of cocaine, and failing to comply with probation.
The accused is set to appear in court on July 28th.
