MUSKOKA LAKES, ON-Bracebridge OPP has arrested and charged a Muskoka Lakes woman with drunk driving after receiving public complaints.
On August 10th, around 10:30 p.m., police received a report about a person who’d been drinking at a local establishment.
Despite being encouraged to use a taxi, she got in her vehicle and drove away.
Officers were able to quickly locate the vehicle and as the result of an investigation, the 65-year-old was charged with being impaired and having a high blood alcohol level.

Her driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days and her vehicle has been impounded.
The accused is set to appear in court on October 27th.
