Police have charged a 76-year-old Barrie man for driving impaired in Oro-Medonte. Just after 8pm on Saturday, officers responded to a car in the ditch at the 5/6 Side Road in Oro-Medonte. Police say the car went into the ditch and hit a large rock and trees before entering a farmer’s field. The driver has had his licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days. He’ll appear in Barrie court on January 19th for impaired driving charges.
