Bracebridge and Gravenhurst High Schools were put in to hold and secures Wednesday afternoon after Bracebridge and Huntsville OPP responded to a weapons call.
OPP report a youth made “concerning comments” about potentially committing an act of violence at one of the local High Schools. Police say they quickly put the schools into a hold and secure.
A short time later, they say the suspect was found and taken into custody.
The hold and secures at both schools have since been lifted.’

Gravenhurst Public School has since tweeted that staff and students are safe and classes are continuing as usual.
