Muskoka Sound Music Festival has been pushed back to next year. Festival Director Linda McLean says it was a hard decision but unavoidable considering there are two new music events coming to the area. One of which is in Gravenhurst.

Funding challenges were also a factor in the decision. According to the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce, Muskoka Sound lost $63,582.83 in 2014. McLean says despite the first year growing paints, the festival was a huge success. She says looks forward to planning the 2016 event, which could happen in summer at a different location than Lion’s Lookout.
