Our MP has spoken with area businesses prior to the federal budget meetings. Tony Clement spent last week in Parry Sound, Almaguin Highlands, and Bracebridge at roundtable meetings geared to hearing the ideas and challenges of those who are on the front-lines of helping to drive the local economy forward. Clement says he always looks forward to these meetings because there is an incredible entrepreneurial spirit in Parry Sound-Muskoka, and these business owners are the driving engines behind job creation and innovation. Some of the businesses who attended include, J.W. Marriott, Near North Industrial, Almaguin Campground, Ridge at Manitou, Kropf Industries, Fireplace and Leisure Centre, and Comfort Inn Parry Sound.
