Muskoka’s Ontario Works caseload continues to see improvement. That from Bracebridge councilor Steve Clement who’s forwarded an update on to council. Clement says it continues to be a good news story with a decrease of 41 cases or 4.2 percent over the same time last year. Clement admits there was a slight rise of 24 cases (2.5 percent) from November to December in 2013. But he says the last 5 months have been below the level they were the prior year – a decrease rate not seen since 2008.
