Our region’s Chief Medical Officer of Health just got a new job title added to his existing one.
Dr. Charles Gardner got unanimous support from the Simcoe Muskoka Board of Health on Wednesday to be Chair of the Council of Ontario Medical Officers of Health.
Dr. Gardner will start his new position today (Wednesday) while continuing as Medical Officer of Health for Simcoe Muskoka.
