Another name has been put into the Huntsville municipal election race. Brian Thompson has filed papers to run for re-election as Town and District councillor. Thompson says if he is re-elected, his main goal is to improve our roads infrastructure.

He also says he wants to help expand local businesses in our community.

Thompson has sat at the round table in council chambers for the past 14 years. He says he has a real love for this town.

Thompson was first elected to council in 2000. He then became District councillor in 2006.
