Huntsville recruiting for focus groups ahead of strategic plan

Huntsville is inviting residents to join focus groups for the town’s upcoming strategic plan.

Officials say those groups will discuss the responses to the plan’s survey, to find out what matters most to Huntsville residents and shape key priorities for years to come.

The survey has gotten more than 1,200 responses since it was released late last month, and is open until Aug. 25.

“We have been blown away by the level of engagement thus far,” says Reva Frame, Director of Corporate and Community Strategy. “Our Strategic Plan is a blank slate and we’re looking to the community to tell us what they think should be included. Thank you to those who have taken the time to provide feedback and help shape the future of Huntsville.”

The town will hold virtual focus groups on Aug. 28, Aug. 30, and Sept. 5 at 5:30 p.m., with registration here.
