Lakeland Networks is warning its customers of a survey scam that is making the rounds in the region.
The energy provider posted to social media about a scam that is active that uses Lakeland to gain your trust.
According to a screenshot provided by Lakeland, the scam consists of an email claiming to be the company and congratulating the recipient on being chosen to take a short survey in exchange for a “first come, first serve” exclusive reward offer.
The company asks residents to be aware, adding this is NOT Lakeland and IS a SCAM.
