Overall home sales and total listings across the Parry Sound and Muskoka region increased year-over-year in May, according to the Lakeland’s Association of Realtors.
A total of 2,058 homes were on the market last month, up nearly 38 per cent from the 1,496 listings in May 2023.
Home sales increased nearly 13 per cent over that same period, with 667 homes sold across Lakelands North compared to 591 the same month last year.
The median price of homes sold was $760,000, down seven per cent compared to last May.
The Lakelands North region includes Parry Sound, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville and surrounding townships.
