The Town of Gravenhurst is seeking resident feedback on housing affordability.
According to officials, the town has contracted SHS Consulting to help develop a Housing Needs Assessment (HNA) for the community.
“An important part of the housing needs assessment is understanding how the local community is experiencing housing affordability,” say town officials.
They add this assessment is an essential tool to ensure the Town of Gravenhurst remains a vibrant, viable and economically prosperous community that grows sustainably.
Officials say in the recent 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, they recognized there are still opportunities available to address the affordable housing crisis the community is currently experiencing.
