Bracebridge OPP investigates two break and enters

Two cash boxes were stolen from a Bracebridge business.

However, Provincial Const. Samantha Bigley with the Bracebridge OPP says neither had any money in them.

She explains the break-and-enters happened early Friday morning.

Bigley adds the first was at a business located in Muskoka Rd. 118 near Peninsula Rd. in Port Carling and the other happened at a business on Kanien’kehá:ka Iohatátie (formerly Muskoka Rd. 38) in Wahta Mohawk First Nation.

In both cases, Bigley says the suspect smashed the window to get in before fleeing on foot.

Bigley describes the suspect as wearing jeans and a black jacket with the hood pulled up and dark gloves and face mask at the break-and-enters.
