Mischief concerns from residents have led to charges.
Bracebridge OPP says on July 14 at 3:30 a.m. officers started patrolling the area after they received reports from residents and business owners of mischief in the area.
Police say while conducting the patrols, officers spotted two people crossing a bridge on Ecclestone Dr., with one then pushing a wooden planter containing flowers into the river below.
The OPP says officers stopped the two and noticed that there were other planters that had been disturbed with the flowers ripped out.
A 19-year-old from Bracebridge was charged with mischief and has a August court appearence, police say the other person was charged with an offence under the Liquor Licence and Control Act (LLCA).
