Meaghan Byrnes honored with award for outstanding leadership in healthcare philanthropy

Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s director of philanthropy has won an award from the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP).

The foundation’s Meaghan Byrnes has been named to AHP’s 40 under 40 Class of 2024.

Officials say the award recognizes young leaders making a significant difference in healthcare philanthropy, demonstrating career achievements, community involvement, and leadership.

“Meaghan has been with us for just over two years and has already had an impact in shaping the future of Philanthropy in Huntsville and surrounding areas, and our future includes raising millions of dollars for a new hospital”, explains Katherine Craine, CEO of Huntsville Hospital Foundation.

The AHP is an international professional non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to development professionals who encourage charity in healthcare organizations.
