Tomorrow is the big day. The Muskoka Lumber Community Centre is hosting its grand opening tomorrow (Thursday) at 1:00 p.m.
Mayor Rick Maloney, council members and other community dignitaries will be at an event held in front of the facility.
Following the event, the community is being invited in for a tour of the nearly 114,000 sq. ft. building.
Earlier this summer, Mayor Maloney said close to $4 million was brought in through sponsorships and fundraising initiatives. The Town of Bracebridge is contributing $58 million towards the project.
Officials add due to the grand opening, Bracebridge Transit will also be on a temporary detour. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bracebridge Transit will service bus stop #460 on-street out front of the Coulson Family Bracebridge Library.
