A 34-year-old Huntsville man is facing assault charges after an incident on Old Muskoka Road yesterday (Oct. 30).
The OPP says shortly after noon, officers responded to calls of a naked man running on the roadway.
Police say after an investigation, it was revealed the accused had been acting strangely and became assaultive towards the victim, struck them with an object and then physically assaulted them as well.
The victim was assessed for minor injuries by EMS but did not require any further medical attention.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
