Two facing charges after memorabilia stolen from Gravenhurst Legion

Two people in their 30s are facing charges after police say irreplaceable World War 1 and 2 memorabilia were stolen from the Royal Canadian Legion in Gravenhurst.

Bracebridge OPP says last Wednesday (Nov. 20) afternoon, two people entered the Legion on Veterans Way and stole memorabilia, clothing, and a wheelchair.

Police say the accused have upcoming court dates to answer to the charges; however, many of the stolen items have not yet been recovered. Anyone with information on the items is being asked to call the OPP or Crimestoppers.
