All Ontario Recycling has renewed its commitment to local healthcare by pledging $25,000 to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s (HHF) Business Cares Program.
The program encourages local business owners to pledge $5,000 annually for five years to support the hospital.
Trish Kruusmagi, Development Officer Events and Community Engagement at HHF, says All Ontario Recycling owners Kevin and Bev have donated nearly $40,000 over the past nine years.
“Their dedication extends to supporting both Muskoka hospitals, and they know this is an impactful way to strengthen our community and improve patient care for everyone who calls Muskoka home,” says Kruusmagi.
Bev and Kevin explained they decided to keep supporting the Huntsville Hospital Foundation because it aligns with their company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
“All of us will need the hospital one day – our staff will need it, our family and our neighbours. Supporting the hospital(s) ensures that advanced medical equipment, technology and services are available for us where they’re needed most – right here in Muskoka,” they shared.
Officials say since Jan. 2016, the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Business Cares initiative has raised over $2 million to help our hospital acquire advanced technology and equipment.
“Thanks to the caring business leaders of our incredible town and the communities around it, the initiative continues to grow, and more business leaders continue to step up in support of our hospital,” say officials.
