Bala’s Trek to Bethlehem has been cancelled.
The event, which retells the Christmas story with the help of actors, custom backdrops, farm animals and more, has been an area tradition since 1993.
Chairperson Patricia Gidley shares the decision was made due to the unusual snow and winter conditions and with the safety of the volunteers, actors, and visitors in mind.
Officials say they look forward to seeing everyone again next December.
