The Bracebridge Library has temporarily closed due to minor roof leaks caused by recent severe weather.
“Out of an abundance of caution and with the safety of our staff and patrons as our highest priority, we made the difficult decision to close temporarily to assess and address the situation,” say officials.
Officials say crews have been working hard, making the necessary repairs and ensuring the integrity of the roof.
“We’re pleased to share that we anticipate reopening on Friday, Dec. 27 just in time to welcome you back to enjoy the library over the holiday break,” share officials.
They add after the reopening, some areas may remain inaccessible as some repairs are finalized.
