The Kubota North Wellness Centre is celebrating its grand opening next Wednesday (Jan. 15).
Admission is free, and the ceremony kicks off at 10:30 a.m.
Officials say there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony with community leaders and Kubota North representatives who helped make the day possible.
Kubota North sponsored the project through a $100,000 contribution over 15 years, with the construction begining last fall at the Sportsplex, transforming the auditorium into a multi-purpose community room and a wellness centre.
When it was first announced, the Town of Bracebridge shared the new facility space will be available to those 10 years old and older and provide the opportunity to utilize free weights, cardio equipment, a functional training area, and personal training to assist in achieving their health and wellness goals.
Officials, there will be tours, special guests, refreshments, healthy snacks, and more. Â
