In Bracebridge a snow squall warning has also been issued by the agency for this afternoon and into Wednesday morning.
Officials say lake effect snow off Georgian Bay is expected to move into the area this afternoon and persist into Wednesday morning before weakening and shifting northward. While there remains some uncertainty in the exact location of heaviest snowfall, at this time the highest amounts are expected closer to Georgian Bay.
