Search warrants in Gravenhurst, GTA lead to seizure of 300 kilos of cocaine

The OPP says nearly 300 kilograms of cocaine are off the streets after search warrants were executed across the greater Toronto area and Gravenhurst.

It comes after Project SHEARWATER was launched last September.

The OPP says as part of the five-month investigation – search warrants were executed across the GTA and Gravenhurst in mid-January.

Police say the estimated street value is about $ 29 million.

Four people from southern Ontario have been charged, and a Mexican national has been removed from the country by the Border Services Agency.

A warrant has also been issued for a 38-year-old from Toronto.
