The Town of Bracebridge has opened the application process for the 2025 Community Improvement Plan (CIP) to support economic development, enhance local infrastructure and strengthen commercial and mixed-use areas.
The Town says the CIP has a variety of financial incentives available such as grants and loans as an incentive for private sector investment projects to improve buildings, housing, energy efficiency and more.
Officials say last year, the CIP gave over $48,000 in grants to 23 local projects, contributing to projects such as accessibility enchantments and signage installations.
“Programs like the CIP are crucial to driving sustainable development and supporting our local businesses,” says Rick Maloney, Bracebridge Mayor. “We are proud to offer this valuable resource to help local businesses and property owners reinvest in our community and fuel Bracebridge’s economic vibrancy.”
The town encourages local business owners to send in their application early to have more opportunity in receiving their fund request. Funds will be available until they are all distributed.
