Busy weekend across Muskoka

Monday is Family Day and there is no shortage of events for you and your family to take part in this year.

On Family Day, free events will be happening at both the Bracebridge Sportsplex and the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, including public skating, floor hockey, climbing, swimming and more.

In Huntsville, family skating, swimming and snowshoeing are all on the docket as well, with events happening at the Canada Summit Centre and Muskoka Heritage Place.

Before the holiday Monday, however, your family’s invited to the Gravenhurst Winter Carnival. The festivities kick off this Friday and last the whole weekend.  Donut and Wing eating contests, Cardboard Box Racing, all you can eat poutine and of course the demolition derby are only a few of the events happening over the weekend.
