The town of Gravenhurst says work on clearing fallen trees and branches will continue for several days.
Officials say crews are also sanding and salting main roads, adding secondary roads will receive attention as time and resources allow.
Utility crews continue to repair downed power lines, and according to officials, this will be ongoing this week.
The town is reminding people to stay away from downed lines and adds the Centennial Centre at 101 Centennial Dr. is open as a warming station until 8 p.m. tonight, offering device charging.
Warming stations are also open in other towns, including the Muskoka Lumber Community Center and the Bracebridge Sportsplex in Bracebridge and the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville.
