UPDATE: Storm temporary disrupts District services

Update: Officials say District of Muskoka’s phone and internet services have been fully restored after the recent power outage at their Bracebridge administrative office.

The District of Muskoka services have been disrupted due to last night’s storm.

Officials say an outage at 70 Pine Street in Bracebridge has caused temporary disruptions in the District’s phone and internet services, including the recently activated Ice Storm Assistance Line.

“This outage is impacting our ability to respond to calls and emails in a timely manner,” say district officials, adding they remain open to the public but with limited access.
