A 33-year-old Gravenhurst man is facing multiple charges after police responded to several break-and-enters in Gravenhurst earlier this month.
According to police, thefts occurred at five different businesses in the early morning hours between March 31 and April 5. One business was broken into three times.
Police say, shortly after 1 a.m. on April 5, officers received a report of a damaged door at a Gravenhurst business on Muskoka Road South and James Street that had already been broken into twice before.
Officers, with assistance from the public, were able to identify, arrest and charge a 33-year-old from Gravenhurst with breaking and entering, theft under $5,000, and possession of break-in instruments.
The suspect is being held for a bail hearing on April 7.
An investigation is on-going.
