A Gravenhurst man is facing charges after an incident with police which resulted in an OPP cruiser receiving minor damage.
Police say on April 12, at around 5:30 a.m., officers received multiple traffic complaints about a vehicle travelling south on Bethune Drive in Gravenhurst.
According to the OPP, officers located the vehicle and tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver refused to comply, resulting in minor damage to a police cruiser.
They add the vehicle was later brought to a safe stop, and officers arrested the man.
As a result, a 29-year-old of Gravenhurst was charged with Dangerous Operation and Flight from Peace Officer, along with several Highway Traffic Act offenses.
The accused will appear in court on May 20.
