Authors are eager to prove themselves at this year’s Muskoka Novel Marathon. Organizers say the 40 available spaces were snapped up in an unprecedented hour and a half. The Novel Marathon will take place July 10th to 13th at the Active Living Centre in Huntsville. As well as providing a 72-hour creativity hothouse for the 40 writers, the Novel Marathon raises funds for YMCA Simcoe-Muskoka’s literacy programs in Huntsville and last year it generated $23,000.
