The Coast Guard base in Parry Sound is receiving upgrades as part of a Federal Infrastructure commitment.
This morning, Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement announced that Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard will receive more than $550(M) million as part of a $5.8(B) billion federal infrastructure investment over the next two years.
Clement explains what the funding will go towards at the parry Sound Coast Guard base.
