Over the next two weeks, the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority will announce the top ten energy performing boards in Ontario.
The #9 ranked school board with great energy performance, is the Simoce Muskoka Catholic District School Board. The estimated total energy saving potential reached to 23.1 %.
With 9 secondary schools and 43 elementary schools, the school board managed to use only 18.4% of electricity and 28.1% of gas.
