Bracebridge and Huntsville will be moving a lot faster after a major internet upgrade.
On Tuesday morning MP Tony Clement joined the Lakeland Holdings crew to announce the upgrade to fibre optic networks in both Bracebridge and Huntsville.
Clement says he’s happy to be bringing residents what they’ve been requesting for a long time.
The government of Ontario as well as the federal government are both putting in $2.8 million dollars into the project.
Businesses in the areas will be offered a 1 gig service speed after upgrades are complete.
