Kyle ‘The Monster’ Nelson was ready to climb into the steel octagon at the end of the month at Battlefield Fight League 37 in British Columbia.
But instead, he is coming home after his opponent backed out.
The Huntsville native spent close to six thousand dollars in travel and training to bring the belt back home to Ontario, but he mentions that he felt his opponent was scared.
Nelson spoke to the committee to request for a new opponent , but they refused. He figures that since the hometown guy couldn’t fight, they didn’t care about The Monster.
