The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is thanking everyone for their donations that supported over three-thousand donors.
During the fiscal year ending on June 30th, the YMCA received close to $470,000 in donations to go towards helping children, teens, and families in the community who are unable to afford the full cost of participation in a YMCA program.
Manager of philanthropy, Jessica Rahn says these donations are very special to everyone who is in need, like single mothers.
Rahn says every donation made a difference to the lives of many people in our community.
