Gravenhurst firefighters responded to an early morning fire in west Gravenhurst on Saturday.
Around 1:30 a.m. that morning firefighters arrived at 18 Redwing Road where a garage and shed had caught fire.
Firefighters evacuated the people in the nearby home and crews were able to bring the fire under control by about 2 a.m.
Officials report one firefighter was taken to South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge for an injury to his ankle, but was released soon afterwards and is recovering at home.

One vehicle in front of the garage was destroyed and several others damaged by the heat.
Officials believe the cost of the damages is around $150,000.
Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the accident.
