OPP is warning Central Region residents of a recent string of truck tailgate thefts.
The thefts have occured so far in Barrie and Orillia.
Newer pick up trucks often feature a back up camera which is attractive to theives according to officials.
Police are reminding everyone to lock your tailgate when you leave your vehicle.
