October is many things to many people, but for one Bracebridge woman it’s a time to remember.
Johanna Stührenberg is a five-year survivor of brain cancer.
The university student would like to bring more awareness that October is also recognized as Brain Tumor Awareness month.
Stührenberg lives a normal daily life after having the tumor removed which left a hole in her brain.
She and her family say they are thankful for everyday they have together following her surgery.
