It wasn’t as close of a race back in 2011 when Conservative Tony Clement was running against the Liberals in the Parry Sound-Muskoka riding.
Clement was able to take the win with 55 per cent of the vote, while the Liberal candidate at the time, Cindy Waters only had 24 per cent.
In this election Clement took the win again but with a much smaller margin of 5 percent differnce.
Voter turnout was about the same with 65 per cent in 2011 and 67 per cent in this election.
