The Calvacade Ford bantam Bears competed hard in the Jim Wilson Chevrolet Hockey Tournament over the weekend.
The Bears started out strong with a 3-1 win against Barrie and then a 5-0 win against Welland.
But facing host team Orillia in their final game, the team lost 8-2.
Officials with the team are impressed with their performance overall in the tournament.
And the Norstar Novice Bears also started out the weekend strong in Penetanguishene with a 7-3 win, but lost to the Haliburton Storm on Sunday 3-2.
