Following the announcement by two organizations in the community to bring three Syrian families to Bracebridge, the mayor is applauding this move.
Graydon Smith says that it’s a humanitarin effort that looks past religion.
He adds that he hopes residents will put what money they can towards this cause.
Both the Rotary Club and the United Church in Bracebridge have announced plans to help fund families from Syria and bring them to Bracebridge.
