Nipissing University faculty and administration may be returning to the bargaining table in the near future.
A report from the university says that they have received a formal request from faculty to resume negotiations.
In response officials have contacted a provincial mediator to begin the process of potentially meeting with faculty once again.
Currently there is no timeline on when this will happen.
