The Calvacade Ford Bantam Bears are celebrating a major win from a weekend tournament.
The Bears won all four games while playing in the Tim Greavette Memorial hockey tournament which ran from Friday until Sunday.
They started out 5-0 against the South Grenville Rangers, 3-1 against the Dundas Blues, 2-1 playing Caledonia and a final shutout against South Glenville 3-0.
Coach Dan Blum says the team really came together for the four games this weekend.
Blum says there is a tournament over Christmas and one more league game before OMHA playdowns in January.
He adds this is a new age group that he’s been working with this year and a lot of them have potential to do well.
