After nearly 18 hours, Highway 69 is now open to alternating traffic between Britt and Nobel.
According to Ontario511, a single lane of alternating traffic opened just before 4:00pm.
Last night before 9:30pm, West Parry Sound OPP were called to a crash north of Harris Lake Road after a southbound tractor trailer hauling livestock cattle crossed the centre line and struck three oncoming vehicles.
The southbound tractor trailer driver was pronounced dead on the scene while five people in a minivan were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the other two drivers were uninjured.
Multiple cattle were also killed as a result of the crash.
