The Township of Lake of Bays will name its newest councillor today.
This morning, township staff will hear speeches from eight candidates applying for the Sinclair-Finlayson seat. The applicantsĀ are Rick Lloyd Brooks, Gareth Cockwell, Charles Cooper, Howard S. Elliott, David Hunter, Irvine Payne, Michael Pepper and David Walker.
After the speeches are complete, staff will vote to choose the new member.
The meeting starts at 9:00am in Council Chambers.
